Yes. The dictation pipeline, the AI chat, and Meeting Notes are all on-device by architecture: speech recognition runs on Apple's Neural Engine, cleanup and summaries run on Apple Foundation Models on-device, and there is no network call in any of those paths. Full privacy posture here.
Can Dollop record Zoom and Google Meet? +
Yes. Meeting Notes captures system audio (so it picks up everyone in the call) and your mic, transcribes locally, and produces a summary with action items. No bot in the call, no browser plugin, nothing uploaded.
How does it compare to Otter, Granola, Fireflies, and Read.ai? +
Those tools upload audio to a server for cloud transcription, train models on user data unless you opt out, and route recordings through a third party. Dollop's Meeting Notes runs entirely on-device, so investor calls, board meetings, customer interviews, and hiring conversations stay where they belong, on your Mac.
