• Is Dollop still free?

  Yes. The on-device experience — dictation, AI chat with screen context, meeting recording with AI notes — stays free forever. Free also includes a small daily allowance of cloud chats so you can try the smarter models without committing.

• Pro vs Max — which one am I?

  Almost everyone wants Pro. It unlocks every cloud model (Claude Opus, Sonnet, GPT-5.4, Gemini Pro) plus generous daily limits for chats, meeting notes, and web search. Max is for business users — agencies, sales teams, knowledge workers — who need 5× the headroom. Same models, more capacity.

• What's the actual daily limit?

  We don't publish exact numbers because they change as we tune for fairness and cost. Pro is sized so the vast majority of users never hit a ceiling on normal use. If you do, that's usually a signal to upgrade to Max.

• Where does my data go on Pro / Max?

  Audio still processes on-device first. Only the cleaned-up text leaves your Mac, and only when you turn cloud features on. Transcripts and notes sync between your Macs end-to-end encrypted. Cloud is a single Settings toggle — flip it off and everything stays local. Dictation stays on-device by default.

• Can I cancel anytime?

  Yes. Annual subscriptions are pro-rated. Monthly cancels at the end of the billing period and you keep your tier through the period.
